Kittins inspired by … KITTENS!

Kittens, don’t really like ‘em, but this made me smile :)

Gold Spandex Pants!

This had me cracking up and thinking … I too can rock gold spandex pants … NOT! Did I mention I dig the specs?
Leslie just rules!

The Wait Is Over!

India.Arie

It’s here! It’s here! India.Arie’s second Testimony and fourth studio album: Love & Politics! I’m over the moon excited by this release, I have really been waiting for this one. Unfortunately the album cover art is just straight ugly and a bit amateurish looking in my opninion. But the content is far from that!

P.S. MC Lyte is on a cut on the album… JOY!

Before the Music Dies

During my ongoing (get it over with) research for my graduation thesis, I cam across this documentary ‘Before the Music Dies’ made in 2006. Check out the movies website http://www.beforethemusicdies.com/
” BEFORE THE MUSIC DIES is an unsettling and inspiring look at today’s popular music industry featuring interviews and performances by Erykah Badu, Eric Clapton, Dave Matthews, Branford Marsalis, ?uestlove and a wide variety of others.”

She’s a Dancer

Not quite one and a half yet, not quite able to formulate words but that doesn’t stop her from being a chatterbox, funny and cheerful. That’s my lil’ niece Kaylynn or Kaydizzle for friends. One of her favorite things to do is dance. Put on a good tune and she’ll dance on beat. Her toptune of the moment is the Quintino remix of ‘Cidinho & Doca - Rap das Armas‘.Though the orginal version isn’t that festive and actually quite serious ,  since I don’t understand portuguese (sorry grandma)  Quitino’s remix is an awesome  floorfiller to me. … and to Kaylynn. I could see her getting down to this in the club, but for now it’s dancing in her diapers at home having fun!

I just hope in 20 years she loses the habit of dancing topless hehehehe.
